What services do you provide?

School Space offers a number of services in the lettings market, but our core product is a ‘fully managed’ offering. This means that not only do we provide a bookings platform and software, but also fully trained, enhanced DBS staff to manage lettings on your school site.

How do you manage existing customers?

Here at School Space we are very used to handing over existing customers as well as bringing in new community groups to schools. We carefully vet all our customers, including insurance, safeguarding and british values checks, as well as careful management to ensure events are suitable for each school.

We also have an existing network of carefully selected partners who we place in our schools as part of the School Space offering. We then work closely with each of our partner schools to ensure all lettings users are as beneficial to the community and school as possible, building on your existing relationships rather than disrupting them!

How do we know what’s going on on site?

We have a bespoke booking system to manage lettings, and provide as many logins as needed for free as part of our service. You have full visibility of customer usage and regular income and impact reporting each term. Our School Operations Manager will have a close relationship with your site team, as well as our School Partnership Manager being available for income updates and contractual progress meetings.

Provided that your facilities meet the threshold for our service, we can start straight away. We take care of the onboarding process to get you set up for successful lettings, or handover what you already have in place. What do you charge?

We almost always operate on a share of the income from lettings, to ensure there is no upfront cost, and never a risk of lettings costing a school money. We are market leaders for income generation, and our proposal will demonstrate to you how we generate the maximum possible income for each of our partner schools.
